| Fun in Dillwyn, Virginia Man did we have fun in Dillwyn with our friends Kevin & Julie Todd. We stayed at their parents cabin on the Nazarene Camp Ground there. We just had a good time laughing, playing games, watching movies, making Carmel Apple Cider and lattes (I love being a barista now), going to the Dairy Freeze, playing at the park, playing Tennis, eating at the Pizza Pub (talk about a country restaurant), looking at the beautiful stars, riding/driving the Gator (John Deer cart that halls things), and taking a nap---not particularly in that order either.
Playing Phase 10 in the cabin, it was fun, pretty sure Julie kicked are butts or maybe it was Kevin.
Ah yes, going to the Dillwyn Dairy Freeze, notice who Todd is trying to look like? Notice the prices? $1.40 for a huge sundae, yeah it was really good, I guess prices are a lot cheaper in small towns.
Julie eating her Vanilla Cone , I was cracking up we all got these shakes/sundaes and she got a plain icecream cone, she's so cute and funny! (to her credit they were out of the "dip" to put the cone in)
My funny hubby, don't leave home without blue kool-aide and a bag of butter-lovers popcorn --that's his theory anyway. Like his pants pulled up and shirt tucked in--yeah me too, I was laughing, he's so funny. He wanted to "snack" while we looked at the stars. One of the many reasons I love him. How is it that weekend fly bye? It's Monday, and I have a case of them. Here's to next weekend ey? Thanks Kevin & Julie, we had a blast with both of you! |
